One of the things that I love… when you can see something that is universally applicable, so it so obvious that it is the truth, that only a complete idiot would ignore… which most of us qualify quite majestically 😃, and we all have five things we have to deal with – the first is, as the famous statement of Hillel "If I am not for I, I cannot expect anyone to be…" in other words, number one you have to not be a victim but a proactive person, as they call it "advocate…" and the first person you need to advocate for (not against anyone, but in positive sense) is for yourself. II is, we have an intrapersonal relationship, so once our basic needs are met, it is time to start developing! which means, life is always as the Baal Shem Tov teaches us, teaching us – and to those who are looking for truth, truth is looking to teach! all the time! through all events! even at times, through "random" thoughts… Obviously the general guideline for goodness and kindness, Justice and morality is given by God in the Torah… Then we have the interpersonal-relationship, which is as Hillel said "If I am only for me, then I am just a selfish…" And therefore we have to first and foremost be Kind, Nice, Considerate, Compassionate, and quite simply Put The Needs Of Others As Genuinely Important As Our Own; Then we have the Divine relationship, in which we understand that relative to God and His general, as Moses says "In every generation, I will send a prophet like me" so in our generation, all of our wisdom… so the wisdom of the entire generation, is not even like a amoeba compared to say all of science… as anybody who has studied the Rebbe’s wisdom easily understands, and therefore the mission is to be humble to the higher truth, and in every generation, it is only those who humble themselves to the Rebbe of the generation, and the Divine wisdom that he teaches, that can truly be considered those that are selfless; and finally, because as the Rebbe teaches, the Moshiach is here, and of course will soon be fully revealed, we now, for this is the essence of the Messianic era, must develop a direct line to God!
