One of the important ideas of Kabbalah is the subdivision of reality- all monotheistic and ethics, philosophies create a duality: good vs. evil, however in Kabbalah there is a third realm called the tree of knowledge which fundamentally is the idea that the human is a sensitive observer/ desirer – now above us is the realm of the tree of life: God, Judaism, Truth – Below us is hell – ego hence entitlement hence expectations hence frustration (for of-course no one is entitled) hence resentment hence anger hence jealousy hence maliciousness – now the truth is all realities; hence simultaneously we are half hell and half heaven
