Once upon a time there lived a robot and the way this robot was programmed was there were three main drives – one was towards things that would make it happy, and whenever it was focused on the happy drive, it would think about only things that could make it happy – the other was the drive for safety, and whenever it was afraid, it would always think about the things that could harm it, so it could run away – and the third was jealousy, whenever it was afraid and was jealous that others were happy, and it was not, it would think about why others are evil, so they could maliciously shame them, so they too would begin to feel misery
