once upon a time Judaism was a top down religion – the Jew – in fact all good people following the wisdom of God’s teachings – had to humble themselves – however, how did the Jews know what God wanted? – for this he gave the Jews great Rabbis, who in an unbroken chain since Mosses could interpret the Torah into the practical relevant laws – however, as Moshiach is approaching, a new chain of command, direct from God to the individual, as it states “no one will teach one another, as all will know me” (and based on this verse, our sages declare, “a new Torah will come from me” when Moshiach comes) and interestingly, of-course as there is a principle, that the Torah will never change so how can there a. be a new Torah and b. have direct communication? but this principle was already said as part of the (old) Torah – that when the voice of God is heard (as long as it is consistent with the principles of the Torah) that becomes the new Torah!
