Ok I’ve learnt this much, there is a higher power running things, but where is he running to? confusion over this, is the cause of the so many divergent religions

Of course, man is not in a position to teach where the Creator is running to, but Kabbalah which like Judaism is one hundred percent revealed wisdom from God, is.

As clarified in Chassidus, God is running basically to you!

Now this may seem simple enough but it is fundamentally different to all spiritual paths.

For all spiritual journeys presupposes that there is man in a materialistic world which is not good and he hence must go to God in a spiritual world, where God obviously resides.

But Chassidus turns this on it’s head.

It says, God wants to come into our universe! in which he already exists even more than in the spiritual universes (it’s just that, in the spiritual universes, God’s light is somewhat revealed, hence in ours, where his essence is concealed, hence we have freedom of choice through not seeing his light!)
