Now if we look at Rosh Hashanah, we find a very different attitude – seek deep into your soul – can you become a better person in the year ahead? – rejoice with family! – give charity in anticipation of the big day! – in other words, Judaism teaches self-refinement, continual growth and most importantly, love your family and friends (which extends to, all your fellow Jews) as much as yourself!
