New Frontiers

 

The Baal Shem Tov teaches (or maybe the Rebbe teaches about the Baal Shem Tov) many are the wise, but precious few, perhaps once in a millennia or twice, do people whose conception of reality change our perception of it

The Rebbe was one of those people – rooted firmly in the study of Judaism and Chassidus, but not adhering to any preconceived ideas he firmly established new frontiers

The following is one of his revolutionary new paradigms

1. Previously it was thought, God is somewhat aloof, the Rebbe followed the Baal Shem Tov’s vision, God is not aloof, he is controlling for a meaningful purpose everything – but I think the Rebbe took it further, for to the best of my knowledge, till the Rebbe, this divide between materialism and spirituality existed – the Rebbe said, that materialism is not to be shunned – you should live well, be wealthy; the Rebbe saw a healthy body, a calm tranquil spirit, as fundamental to being able to live a spiritual life
