Nature or Nurture

In science the debate rages, nature or nurture, between the scientists and psychologists, as the Previous Rebbe said, there is a tendency in the secular mindset to focus exclusively on a single truth to the exclusion of all other realities, of course, as Judaism teaches, and as empirically obvious, both nature and nurture shape us, which still doesn’t mean we are shaped, for we can – through freedom of choice – shape ourselves!
