The reason physical Pleasures are stupid is because in actual fact, apart from the fact that many times the results, such as in addiction is horrific, but furthermore, all pleasure stems from the Divine, So Physical pleasure is only like the excrement, so why would one substitute excrement for Pure Bliss.

HEARTLESS

Part of the reason that we lack knowledge and passion which leades us to indulge and become cold and heartless, is because even though we know about God, we don’t feel God.

RESPONSIBILITY

We have to take responsibility for pushing the Divine presence out through our sins, and therefore add so much more.

LOVE

All of the Tzaddikim and Rebbes had a passionate love for every single Jew, in a fact as the Alter Rebbe says, that the love of a fellow Jew is in fact greater than the love of God, and leads us also to love of God.

POSITIVE

The Rebbes gave us, especially as we are offshoots of their souls, an innate love for God and for the Jewish people, and for the Torah, and when our passion for good is strong, we manifest the Shechina.
