My Lucky “break🐣”
February 2, 2026
At first I thought I was whole.
Like a seed, sealed in its shell.
Like an egg, smooth, complete, untouched.
I mistook containment for perfection,
and wholeness for completion
I did not yet know
that infinity can hide inside a husk.
Then came the pressure.
A fracture I never invited.
A crack that felt like loss,
like something breaking that could never return.
But Chassidus whispers otherwise:
Nothing truly grows without ביטול, without devolution
The shell must yield
for the אור אין סוף / Infinite light to enter.
Only when I split
did the light find a way in.
Only when I stopped protecting my form
did my essence awaken.
The seed does not shatter to be destroyed—
it breaks to become a forest.
The egg does not crack to end—
it opens so life can breathe.
So too the soul.
What I called broken
was really an opening.
What I feared was the end
was the beginning of my infinite becoming.
For the Divine does not dwell in what is “complete”,
but in what is open enough
to let Him shine through
