My father said a very profound idea (in Synagogue for his speech) the reason why there is antisemitism, which is actually, the same reason there is anti-west – by nature we love ourselves – but the question is “who am I?” – when we identify (usually narcissism, which is actually a reaction to shame) with false “qualities” images/looks – hence I truly believe “because I (of-course in my own imagination/appearance – delusional self-image) am great” (as I look so cool…) then those whose entire reality – a reality consisting of compassion, ideas, tikkun-olam (making the world better, hence having true dignity, true pride (not narcissism, but an innate self-worth)
