Most of our fears, most of people’s problems – in fact, there’s a doctrine in a certain philosophies that everybody suffers, which is not true – but many do, and most of it can be traced to anxiety, but the cause of anxiety in most cases is actually fear of a recurrence of something that was painful to us or we disliked – and usually what it actually boils down to is fear of criticism, and the problem with fear is that it doesn’t have to be a reality for you to feel it – *it’s a fear of the reality.* So this can help.  If you understand that there are only 3 times that we get criticized. The first ironically can be the worst. That is our own ego’s maliciousness against ourselves. So realize that nobody is perfect and everybody may make a error. Second is a bully. Somebody is jealous. And as you are feeling safe and they are feeling anxious this causes a subconscious resentment – hence if you can understand that their criticism is not a result of what you have done but a result of the jealousy it can take away the problem. And last but not least there is a healthy fear of being criticized for doing what is wrong, which is preventable by not.
