Moshiach represents ishapcha and Golus (exile) iskafiyah – these two words comprise the sum total of our spiritual attainment

Ishapchah means transformation – from being a person whose pleasure lies in materialism, to one, who rejects the hollow tasteless materialistic experience, for the bliss of spirituality
Iskafiyah represents, one who understands the difference between right and wrong – and though has not transformed his desires, rather chooses to suppress them
Of course, we, brought up in the west, can appreciate the first and perhaps find the second limiting
But the reverse is actually truth, for when we choose, one pleasure is greater than another, we are effectively trading addictions
But when we suppress what we believe is pleasurable for doing what we believe is correct, we are truly good people
