More important than not being in the dark, is being in the light

By zevi770 · March 10, 2012

You see today most people are obsessed with the darkness

We know how bad things are

In fact all good people in all ages weren’t obsessed enough with the light rather the darkness

How rude people are etc etc.

Even the entire psychology movement was pretty much all based on an obsession with darkness

How many negative things occurred etc.

But as the Baal Shem Tov teaches us, where mans thoughts are, is where they truly are!

In other words, if we are obsessed with the darkness, even to rid ourselves of it, well we are in the darkness, but not just somewhat in the darkness, completely and totally in the darkness, as the Baal Shem Tov teaches, that it’s not just that we have one foot where our thoughts are in, rather our entire body is there!

The Baal Shem Tov came along and taught a new approach!

Forget the darkness!

The Rebbe, possibly seemed less concerned from all the Rebbes with the darkness!

He lived in perhaps the darkest time – spiritually – of Jewish history and he didn’t speak about it once!

You see, the Rebbe believed as the Baal Shem Tov, Chassidus teaches, if you light a candle the darkness will dissipate!!!
