Modern Folly

If we can rely on anything, it is, that we are full of folly!
People believed that the world was controlled by competing angelic/demonic forces – built temples, offered sacrifice (sometime even their children) – an exercise in folly!
Others became enamored with war – dedicated the resources (their children’s lives, as soldiers etc.) to conquest – “We came, We saw, We conquered” – an exercise in folly!
There is no doubt, that historically speaking, our generation is probably no different – “But our culture is so great!” – Sure, that’s what they thought!
