Mistake: Moshaich would one day pop out of the sky. Truth there are two stages to the revelation of Moshiach as the sfas emes says, the arrival of Moshaich parallels (as the verse states) the arrival of Mosses to the Jewish people – first Mosses appeared and quite the hype there was, then things actually went really downhill fast, but then their redemption came; similarly first Moshiach the Rebbe – the Moshiach of our generation – was revealed as Moshiach, then things went swiftly downhill (with the concealment of the Rebbe on gimmel tammuz) then the Rebbe will come back, in the complete redemption for the world
Mistake: Moshiach is about an era in which Moshiach takes care of all our problems. Truth Moshiach is the agent of God to unify our Divine souls in our bodies, a process which is currently underway – hence the hundreds of millions of people discovering, embracing God, spirituality, from secular materialism
