Mirrors

There is a saying in other spiritual traditions “as above so below” – a saying which they don’t understand, but which kabbalah explains.

Kabbalah teaches, that the world of evil, is a mirror of the world of good.

Now here is the most fascinating point:

For by understanding the world of evil, we can in fact understand the world of good! if we simply change the motive, not the mechanism.

The world of evil is completely selfish, it is based on “me gaining” at the expense of anyone or anything!

In other words, the fundamental error we make, is we see the world of good, as a world dedicated to truth, which if we see the flip side of the world of evil – it’s not that the world of evil is dedicated to idealistically pursing untruth, rather, untruth is used as a means to achieve their aim – in other words, the end justifies the means.

And that is the truth, if you flip it around – in other words, the world of good, is not about radical inflexibility; rather, it is about goodness and kindness!
