Message From The Front LinesIt’s been my privilege and honor to be on the front lines.Thank G-d having come to Safed approximately 2 years ago not only did I thank G-d remarry, but I got involved in a wonderful organization called Acsent.The Israeli army sends annually approximately 30,000 soldiers and officers for a Shabbaton weekend to our hotel / Chabad House in order that the soldiers become acquainted more with Judaism.The reason for this is that in the previous Lebanon war the army noticed that many soldiers didn’t know what they were fighting for!In truth this is important for all Jews.A Jewish writer in The Guardian said, it seemed that our ancestors understood a truth that many of us would like to ignore, perhaps which may cost lives! namely, that there are people that seek nothing but the annihilation of the Jewish people.The truth is that what makes us great is not those who hate us but rather we are the custodians of G-d, of truth, of the Torah – in simple words, of the conscience of the world; which is why those who support all that is good and holy, support the Jewish people and Israel. Today there is a tremendous awakening around the world as we have come to the clarity that the future cannot be with illusions, rather with a permanent connection to Judaism, to the Torah, to one another, and simultaneously though everything good will have those jealous, hence seeking to destroy it, one must with absolute strength be able to stand up against evil to wipe it out. Amalek are those that seek the destruction of the Jewish people and our obligation is to eliminate threats to Jewish life, because in truth, the love of those you love, necessitates the destruction of those who wish to destroy them.No one should imagine that those who demand "ceasefire now" and everything else in terms of "compassion on the poor civilians" whom polls show 98%! support Hamas, and the murder and the rape and the beheading of Jews, are demonstrating anything but the desire to do just that, through giving them the territory and International pressure to tell Israel to not protect her citizens.The Prophet Daniel prophesied that before the coming of Moshiach "the contrast of good and evil will be clear. And many whom previously misunderstood will join the clarity."We must believe, know, and pray that these are the final moments toward the complete redemption – and just as G-d foretold our cosmic destiny, our holiness, and our land, our exile and return He has promised and will deliver "As we left Egypt with great miracles – the complete final redemption;" which we hasten through additional acts of goodness and kindness, dedication to Torah and truth.
