A Jew believes that everything comes from God, and even his livelihood, the maximum that can happen is, that God is using a certain mechanism – and therefore will never Bow to the mechanism, and never allows it to disturb their primary purpose of serving God, through Torah and Mitzvos, and goodness and kindness.
Pleasures of this world are the offshoot, excrement, of the spiritual Bliss, just like the kidneys are able to differentiate and send the best of the food to the brain and the heart, while the worst gets pushed out.
The goal of the Jew, is to take this excrement, and through using it for good things, elevate it.
A Jew is intrinsically connected within the essence of God.
