Many of us think that to bring Moshiach we need to change the world, but we see from a simple analogy that to bring Moshiach, you need only to change your own world! the Rebbe clearly and unequivocally states, that as we left Egypt, which was in the merit of the righteous women of that generation, so to, the merit of the coming of Moshiach is in the merit of the righteous women of our generation! – in the time of Egypt, it was their conviction of the coming of the redemption, in our times, it is their lighting the Shabbos candles and perhaps more importantly their tremendous, tremendous sacrifice in not “looking cool,” and instead wearing tzniusdikeh (dignified) clothing.
