many of us think that the messiah will come – the Rebbe said, he is already here – how can, what needs to be seen, be not? – the answer I believe is, that there are two Messiahs – there is the – as in all things in Judaism and life – the inner and outer Messiah – The true messiah is already here! – though it is a sophisticated Kabbalistic lexicon, the bottom line is – the messiah is the revelation of God – but how can God be revealed? – We know, no man can see God and live – the answer is, that which is unlimited is not limited even to what would be normally beyond reality – Hence God can both reveal and conceal himself – Quite simply, in the words of the prophet, God revealed himself, not in a fire nor in an earthquake, but in a simple voice – as the Alter Rebbe says, as God has the power of revelation so does he have the power of concealment – As you approach a fellow human with a modulated voice – offering your insight but allowing their powers of perception to accept or reject it – this then is the true messiah!
