Man’s ultimate Goal

By zevi770 · July 23, 2014

In the words of the Mishnah “I was created to serve my creator!”

Now the ultimate mechanism of a servant, is to not assume you know, but to obviously unconditionally adhere to the wishes of the boss.

Similarly, many in the name of God, have done either pointless or great acts of evil.

To serve God – a Being who is infinitely beyond us! necessitates, to follow God’s wishes, not our anthropomorphization of what his wishes would be (if we were God!)

And there is but one mass revelation of God to humanity – to the Jewish people – witnessed by an entire nation, recorded and faithfully transmitted.

And as mentioned, based on that testimony, in essence, God wants us to always do goodness and kindness!

And as Jewish mysticism clarifies, as God, hence those who serve him (if listening to him, not creating a god in man’s image) is unlimited, therefore, we have an infinite potential to always add in our goodness and kindness!
