Love versus hate is a gps (towards helping or God-forbid destroying others)

But love doesn’t create necessarily that we will act, for we have many competing loves

Effectively we all want to altruistically help others, but simultaneously we are selfish and seek our own pleasure

So quite succinctly, it is only when we combine love with self-discipline that we actualize our positive intentions.
