Listening to God is not a joke; just because its easy, doesn’t mean it’s not the very purpose of creation; for God’s challenge to us, is not in the difficulty of what he requests, rather in our personal struggle to overcome our Yetzer Hara, the little devil within, whose adeptness, adroitness and wiliness at getting us to not listen, is almost equal to God’s ability to get us to listen (a game God actually set up – you know we all like to win!)
