Mamer Acharie

What does it mean that “God sends false miracles (from false prophets) to know what is in our heart, to test us.” – The whole purpose of the soul coming to this world is in order to go through tests – these tests cause, what seems unfair, which challenges our beliefs (making us thinking, that the unjust are fortunate  – cruel people who in their confidence of their blessing, begin to become arrogant.) – What furthermore is the connection of this to Daas (knowing?) For through these tribulations, we come to know (like the difference between one who hears or sees) God.

Why is it called yesh me-ayin (“the world comes from nothing” when the reverse (namely God is the true something (while we nothing) is the case?)

The answer is, that we are truly like a ray of the sun – it begins close to the sun, with kind a bit of intensity, but by the time it travels to us, it’s minute – similarly, we, but a ray, of a ray, of ray…..

2. From the Previous Chapters love, we now come to an amazing humility, for when we realize, that all is but like a ray, hence to us the sun, the heat of the ray that is closest to it and more distant is equally nothing (to bring it to our understanding, the core of the sun is app. 27,000,0000 F (degrees) while the outer layer (even more than a ray…) is a mere 10,000 and obviously, by the time, it reaches earth, what we feel….) hence to the essence, both heaven and earth, spirit and matter, are absolutely nothing.

3. Our thoughts must be God’s, but our action must be like a servant, and even one who cannot achieve the previous (level,) can achieve the latter.
