Life Is an Infinite Dance – Poem

Before there was time,
Before there was space,
Before a single star
Found its place,

There was infinite Oneness,
Infinite light,
Infinite love,
Beyond day and night.

And from this Oneness
A wondrous dance began,
A universe of souls,
Each with a Divine plan.

Each soul a note
In an infinite song,
Each with a purpose,
Each belonging all along.

We dance through the moments,
Through laughter and tears,
Through discoveries and questions,
Through hopes and fears.

Sometimes we dance in darkness,
Unaware of the light,
Sometimes a flash of wisdom
Makes everything bright.

We imagine we’re separate,
Each dancing alone,
Not knowing the music
Is calling us home.

For every encounter,
Each person we meet,
Is another Divine rhythm,
Another sacred beat.

And even when we stumble,
Even when we fall,
The infinite Composer
Is sustaining us all.

Our freedom is real,
Our choices our own,
Yet within every moment
A deeper purpose is shown.

Until comes the awakening,
The great revelation,
That love was the reason
For all of creation.

That each of us carries
A spark of the Whole,
An infinite mission
Within a finite soul.

And when we choose kindness,
When we conquer our pride,
When we open our hearts
And let love reside,

The hidden becomes visible,
The finite reveals,
The infinite beauty
Our soul always feels.

And the ultimate wonder,
The deepest romance,
Is G-d and creation
In an infinite dance.

Not two separate beings,
Not distant, apart,
But infinite Oneness
Revealed in each heart.

And when all of creation
Discovers its song,
We’ll see that our dancing
Was His dance all along.
