Life is actually remarkable, for it is our greatest desire which causes us our greatest pain – we all want to be a somebody, we strive for fame – a recent study shows, close to half of children wish to work for stars – it actually seems as the raison-detr’e of western society – but what would happen if we achieved that fame? – if we became bloated by a fictional sense of grandeur – instead of becoming a somebody, we actually would become a isolated, as well as discontented person – isolation, for as we are on a higher class we eliminate friendships – discontent, for content comes from feeling lucky / undeserving of what we have; while discontent, comes from feeling entitled.
