Life is a horse race

We have three horses in us
Our mind; rational thought and hence, choices.
Our heart; emotional thought or simpler – instinctive desires, for that which will give us pleasure and that which we fear will give us pain (hence, retraction from it.)
And unfortunately, worst of all an ego – which seeks to be dominant!
