Last night I learnt a Mammer – the Mammer was fascinating, for it made the following point – as God desires to integrate himself into our world and the definition of our world is time and space – for as the Tzemach Tzeddek writes: time is the canvas upon which space unfolds; and time is the main limitations of our universe, for things always are shifting; hence it is far from kosher for us to only elevate ourselves and the spaces we live in, as the main idea of time, is days – as time is mainly split into days – hence every single day we must be like a marine soldier awaiting eagerly – as the Baal Shem Tov says – Perhaps my commander-in-chief has an important Mitzvah / good deed for me to fulfil today!
