Last night I heard a great line – it goes like this – In the beginning God spoke to man but man didn’t want to hear – years later, one man sought God, so God spoke to him – he promised him his children will be as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand of the seas and they will inherit Israel, both of which happened – but ultimately, God is our parent and every parent awaits that their child should speak to them – so along came the Baal Shem Tov and told us, that if you put your ear to the ground you will hear the ever subtle whispers – and then as we attune ourselves to these faint barely audible whispers, we become a person
