Kabbalah teaches (which of course science somewhat discovered) God created our universe, which is a time, 3 dimensional based “space,” in which souls experience a reality – the trick to remember is, that if G-d created our universe, though it may have a sense of boringness, the goal is not to escape it’s confines (which is what death is) rather, to understand that heaven and hell, though also being (more spiritual) universes, effectively, are not really spaces, they are mindsets – so the ultimate goal is not to have to leave earth (and our perception that it may be hell etc.) for heaven; rather, to bring heaven into earth – which quite simply is done by a. trusting that God is good, hence all that happens is for the good! b. letting go of our narcissistic instinctual desires for fame, pleasure (and its corollary, anger over shame, and fear of pain) and allow ourselves to become God’s angels – spreading light, love, charity; and if all of us become angels – why wouldn’t heaven be on earth?
