Kabbalah teaches "there is nothing higher than pleasure" – what can this mean? – are we meant to be addicts? – I believe the meaning is this, when it comes to the best of this physical world as it says (to paraphrase) "if you are not in pain and you are feeling good there is no other physical sensation worth gunning for" (in fact our problem is, instead of simply being grateful that unlike perhaps the vast majority of the world, we are safe, secure, hopefully financially o.k., don’t have to worry about (hopefully) health, children, food – so, BE HAPPY!)
