To emotions say goodbye

 

To wisdom say Hi

 

For feelings uncontrolled

 

Like a fire uncontrolled

 

Like an uncontrollable child

 

Like an animal gone wild

 

Are we fools

 

Does our common sense die

 

For to allow emotions

 

Is to allow hate, which eliminates love

 

But to decide, to choose, to discern

 

To forgive and forget

 

To believe and have confidence

 

And to choose to have compassion instead of judgmentalism

 

Only s/he is truly good!
