Evil and good – the satan and God coexist right inside each of us
Evil is the ego – the part of us that feels grand, which is why it gets angered when belittled, jealous when another has what we feel entitled to, it is the source of all conflict, and human misery, for one can never see what they have, when they are sensing what they lack
Conversely, there is no doubt about it, that we are not our ego – as neuroscientists and as Kabbalah teaches, our essence – as all essences – is pure God
