Its scary how simple reality is, though almost completely unknown – as Kabbalah teaches, man desires happiness and not pain – hence we see, how much we do to gain pleasure and avoid pain – however fear, whatever the cause, itself is painful, and love, whatever the desire, itself is pleasurable; coupled with these facts, is, we are all egotistical, though we don’t think so (and though there are varying degrees – the fact that we can get angry is only because we have an ego, animals that don’t have egos, can’t get angry; they fight only for survival or instinctual needs, but you can’t offend your dog, as all dog owners unfortunately know; so their behavior can be modified only through instinctual rewards and punishment, so shame doesn’t work.) now because we have an ego, we get jealous of anything we think we are entitled to – anyone whom we believe we should be no less than them (this is why ironically, though perhaps often whites feared black retribution, realizing not that the blacks for whatever reason saw themselves as a lower class to the whites, hence were and are perhaps the most helpful people – for the bitterness of jealousy hasn’t entered – Whereas those radical blacks are different) so as Kabbalah teaches, from all jealousy, the jealousy of happiness, our fundamental desire, is greatest – now here is another principle, we never see ourselves as evil, hence when this desire enters, it mixes with rationalizations, hence all the evil ever done was actually in the name of righteousness – the bottom line of this whole point is simple – to be good, you must overcome your fear (hence get out of pain) and learn to love (again)
