Abraham was a great man, the paradigm of absolute kindness, yet his own Yishmoel we witness today, are rapists, slave traders, murderers, among the causal crimes they commit.
Eisav historically committed genocide on mass scales, and he came from Isaac, who was a highly refined spiritual being!
Only Jacob, the best of our forefathers, had a completion in creating the Jewish nation, which neither slaughtered nor ignored reality, which did the best possible under the most difficult trying circumstances!
What is the unique secret of Jacob that superseded both Abraham and Isaac!?
The answer is simple:
Abraham and Isaac both highly highly refined spiritual beings had a single fault that they were convinced that they were right – and the problem of such a stand is, when we see ourselves in the know; our ego allows for others to justify their behavior, claiming that they too are following in our footsteps! Yishmoel in fact to this very day has Abraham’s tremendous hospitality, and Eisav to this very day has self-discipline.
Only Jacob entered into the “us” paradigm.
In other words, Jacob was a simple man studying, a term we don’t find both by Abraham and Isaac, for though they studied, their study contributed to their ego, while Jacob’s study was that, we are perpetual students.
Only this paradigm, that we are all simple humble nothings, constantly in need of study, that there is no love or discipline paradigms that one can grasp, and claim as one’s own; created the true Jews. – people, who always feel inadequate; hence people who have the space in their hearts for others.
