It’s a big Kabbalistic thing, but it goes like this, men are inspired by their preoccupations (usually somewhat grandiose) women are conscribed to their fear (due to having better access to reality, hence what can go wrong) But there is a layer of reality that combines both the benefit of focus (fear focuses the mind) and dreaming, and this is only found in accessing the most relevant Divine wisdom – which is given to the Rebbe of the generation!
