It used to be “If it feels good just do it!” this was Nike’s famous slogan; then it changed to, “just do it,” the difference is, the exact opposite! for one is, ignore everyone’s rules regulations and standards of conduct, “if it feels good just do it!” and then society who had their fill of just doing what they wanted, began to realize that it didn’t make them happy – how come!? – for nothing that is based on desire – except for fulfilling God’s desires: goodness and kindness, unity and teaching Torah – can truly make you happy! for all desire based desires, never get satisfied! as the Talmud teaches, there is a small organ, that the less you satisfy it, the more satisfied it gets, while the more you satisfy it, the less satisfied it gets! hence a new slogan “just do it!” which refers, not to your desires, but your ambitions, your challenges, for by just doing the right thing, you end up satisfied!
