It states when Moshiach comes we will realize the entire pre-Moshiach era was simply a dream – but as the Rebbe said "you can live in reality today" – here is the real truth – reality exists on three levels (pretty much simultaneously) there is the dream level called nature (everything you have experienced within the natural experiences including time-space etc.) there is the supernatural level you may believe in (miracles, God etc.) then there is the purpose of both, namely, as the infinite one decided to give the gift of growth to his beloved, hence reality exists in a experiential sequence in which you can choose to consistently learn!
