It states Tzaddikim (Jewish saints) mirror God, so a mirror obviously goes both ways, which would mean, we can understand God from Jewish saints – the Rebbe combines the fundemental truth about God: he was both looking ahead and had his feet on the ground; looking forward but cognizant of his audience; knowledgeable of a higher reality and the need to bring it into our reality!
