It seems to me that in essence Judaism especially the Rebbe / Jewish mysticism is an effort that enhances humans perception of themselves, hence raising their morality! while our secular modern culture is an effort from the media, movies, television, pornography and to large extent, the erroneous worldview of science (i.e. what many people think that science denounces God while the vast majority of scientists actually believe in God, as Sir Isaac Newton said “The solar system itself could not have been produced by blind chance or fortuitous causes but only by a cause “very well skilled in mechanics and geometry."” So science itself leads to God!) but the point is, that as man has a desire to do debased acts, thus he needs a rationalization, hence the entire industry of secularism is there for a single lie – to convince men of their debasement so they may act accordingly!
