It says a person who can see what’s ahead has greater clarity than a prophet – it also says, since the destruction of the Temple, prophecy was given to the insane, children (and I think one other group) well, maybe on one of the previous counts I qualify) What’s ahead is really based on as the Rebbe who truly was a wise prophet (for as the Rambam says, that as Moshiach is coming, an era when every Jew will be a prophet, as it says, “I will pour my spirit on all flesh” hence the spirit of prophecy (though an incomparably higher one) came back toward the end of his life and certainly the Rebbe was one) so the Rebbe quotes that much of what is going on today can be traced to the prophecy of Daniel which amazingly describes our very era (never mind the two thousand five hundred years leading up to it and it says, that “things will be clarified” – we are like a child who has no clue about the real world – the greatest cocoon ever created is America; a country whose only memory is that the British charged them too much for tax, which violated their rights, so they kicked it out; and since then never faced a single threat to its existence – with a memory like that, no wonder we are on the spectrum of utopiastic delusion (which is why we thought countries ruled by savagery for thousands of years – who never saw the light of law and order, somehow could easily accept (aka Iraq, Afghanistan etc.) a democratic reality which is based on law and order) So for the father to let his child know that reality is not his fantasy – that the real world demands vigorous effort, tenacious observation and most importantly disciplined delineation, well, welcome to the modern world and from this chaos/clarity will come the knowledge that a. God was right all along; b. as the saying known by people who dealt with Arabs for millania “Never trust an Arab forty years in their grave” (for they are a lying culture going back to its ancestor Yishmoel) and c. Goodness and kindness, positive change starts with you
