It is very interesting to note that our perception of God necessitated a tremendous gap – for ultimately God is exceptionally humble – this can be compared to meeting the Rebbe – I have a friend whose grandfather was Rabbi Hodakav, the Rebbe’s primary secretary (chief-of-staff) he once went to visit the Rebbe as it was about his grandfather’s health – he was forewarned “Don’t forget you are talking to one of the greatest Jewish leaders,” for the Rebbe’s humility was such that you immediately felt as if you were on par!
