It is both shocking though it shouldn’t be, and repulsive as it should, to watch the imbecilic acquiescence of western media outlets – it reminds me – sad but true – of the story, after the Nazis shot an entire town’s Jews, they read a proclamation, thanking one Jew who was probably forced to provide details on fellow Jews, but simultaneously thought he could gain favor, and after the proclamation they shot him.
