It all boils down to, as Rabbi Akiva states, the most important commandment of the Bible – so we are talking about the most important document that has literally changed the reality of our world and how we treat one another, is: “Love your friend as much as you love yourself” which as clarified by Chassidus means, that just as we don’t hate ourselves for the wrong we do, we must never hate another, for the wrong they do.
