Ironically the problem of Islam is that when Muhammad started preaching, as one Pope said, he didn’t bring anything new to the world, the Jews had Judaism, and the Christians had Christianity: Notions of one God, Heaven and Hell, prophets were all there before – so Muhammad who believed he was a prophet first was upset at the Jews for not accepting him, then he was upset at the Christians, and of-course he waged war against his own Arab brothers who were idolaters, and hence the famous war of Mecca where in the Islamic literature quite heroically he got rid of the idols by the Kaaba which is a meteor right around the area in Mecca, which they worshipped; but the bottom line is, the only way he could win followers from his non-followers, were by chopping people’s heads off, hence as he had a certain respect for both Jews and Christians he therefore condemned them to be second-class citizens, so in simple words Mohammed’s worldview consisted of four things: number one, that he was a prophet to be revered which in fact is the first and most important belief of Islam, number 2 that Idol worshippers are to be murdered, number 3 that all lands must follow Sharia, namely Mohammed’s interpretation of law, and number four, that Ch,ristians and Jews who are not Idol worshippers should at best be given a second class humiliating position
