In truth we are in essence Divine and the ultimate destination God has designated for each of our souls, is something only fathomable to the Rebbes – who presumably were at this level – once you grasp the concept, it is from the beginning of the writings of the Alter Rebbe (mainly Likuitie Torah / Torah Oir) and through the writings of all the Rebbes (culminating most prominently in the last years of the Rebbe’s teachings, being perhaps the most dominant theme throughout) and in simple English, “God wants to marry you” – a marriage is two people who share one roof – their relationship and love is such, that each one feels at home in the presence of the other – whereas we may stand on ceremony with some people, but in the true loving home, we are so clued into one another’s emotional space, that no more than the slightest glance, the gentlest of nods, the almost imperceptible blink, conveys a mutually understood story
