In the end of the day, there are really only four possibilities: the first is hope and as mid-life crises teaches, one day fantasy becomes recognized and abandoned; the second, is despair, which as suicide indicates, is pretty dumb (as Napoleon replied, when asked why he doesn’t commit suicide (after being banished to a distant island, formerly an emperor and he said) “I never do anything I can’t regret”) the other is hate (this stems from jealousy / resentment) and as nazi Germany demonstrated, is the quickest path to notoriety, but then there is a fourth – sacrifice for higher ideals
