In the end of the day, the greatest gift God can give us is infinity, in other words, everything else God can give you and you might desire, be it money, fame etc. actually as our sages teach, that which you have – ceases to give you pleasure – for as we all know, that which gives pleasure, ceases to give pleasure after a while; most of man’s insane desires, are not for happiness – but for that which he thinks will make him happy, not realizing, that even if you get it, like say, eating your favorite ice-cream every day, it will soon become tasteless!
