In the end of the day the bottom line of life is threefold

First of all: A supreme being out of nothing but unconditional love created you and me

Second of all, as this supreme being is only unconditional love, exactly as a parent advices but doesn’t force a child, he gives us freedom of choice

However, lest we think our choices don’t matter, He states clearly in the Torah “See I have placed before you the good and even evil, life and death” – in other words, is not that your choice doesn’t have consequence – as I love my son, I will allow him to make his own choices – far be it from me to coerce him – will I advise him? yes – will I be there for him if he seeks my counsel? yes – but ultimately if his heart drives him towards God-forbid drugs etc. will I physically coerce him? no – but ultimately, ultimately, as the Good-Lord knows and foresees all, it is all predestined (as Kabbalah teaches “every soul will find its way home”) that through the negative consequences  of our own choices, we shall then begin to seek life!
